How to See the World from the Safety of Your Living Room

I don’t even know what day of “quarantine” it is here in the United States, but I can tell you that we are NOT doing a good job and LA County is on the verge of another “stay-at-home” order!! As someone who travels frequently (as in going somewhere at least once a month), being forced to stay at home has been LESS than ideal. I think we can all agree that we’re going a bit stir crazy, no?! But, obviously, safety first. #stayhome

Thankfully, popular places around the world have found a way to continue to give the people what they want. Check out my recommendations of virtual tours and webcams from around the world! Happy touristing!

Your Guide to Last-Minute Gift Giving

Your Guide to Last-Minute Gift Giving

Well, we are OFFICIALLY less than 2 weeks from Christmas and a new decade! As exciting as that is, I’m sure there are LOADS of people out there (like me) who wait until the last minute to buy gifts. With that in mind, I’ve put together a little “last-minute gift guide”, and I’ve made sure that all of these items can be delivered by Christmas (or earlier).

I’ve decided to do things a little bit differently and have separated the gifts based on who you’re shopping for. We’ve got the Techie, the Beauty Queen, the Aspiring Influencer, the Frequent Flyer, the Boss Babe, the Homebody, and Stocking Stuffers for All. Enjoy and happy shopping!

I’m just really obsessed with all of these products and have been a longtime Sephora shopper. I genuinely wanted to share this info with you! Holiday Gift Guide for the Traveler in Your Life

True life: I’ve been on a bit of a shopping binge lately. Like straight up, I’ve been DREAMING about shopping sprees. Yes, the dreams have been amazing, and yes, I’ve been disappointed every morning when I don’t wake up amidst Nordstrom and Anthropologie bags.

But before you start recommending I go to a Shopaholics Anonymous meeting, all my online and in-store browsing got me thinking about what the perfect gift would be for people who like to jet set, such as moi! (Husband…take note.)

So I’ve decided to compile a list of awesome gift ideas for that traveler in your life to help ease your shopping woes this holiday season. Enjoy!

About Me

Hi there, and welcome to The Weekender Diaries! My name is Kelsey and I’m an avid traveler, cat lover, and wine drinker living in Los Angeles, CA!

I created this blog as a way for me to write about my travels, post about the things I like, and basically just have a creative outlet! The name was originally inspired by my love for weekend getaways, but I’ve been able to see it grow to encompass everything from packing guides and beauty recommendations, to three-week trip itineraries and a “how-to” section!

So thanks again for stopping by, and if you’re interested in working together, I’d love to hear from you!
